This box set wasn't bad but the story seemed very long and drawn out to me. I don't know how one person could be so gullible but the author managed to make that happen for Nancy. The point could have come across in the first maybe five chapters. I really didn't need to read the whole book to know what was going to happen. All in all, the story had the potential to keep me interested. It's really not a bad book but I think the private club books were better in terms of story line. My advice to anyone planning on reading the love trials box set is to read the private club books before otherwise this story wouldn't make much sense. Like i said it was not a bad set of books to read though.Product details

Found this not as enjoyable to read as other 3 books. The book did keep you wondering how will the end for Nancy.
I enjoyed the story. I thought the writing and character development was good. The mystery was good. But I am not sure how I feel about Jaxon. I don't know if I should or if I want to like him. I liked Nancy in The Private Club series, enough to want to read The Love Trials. But this one was difficult to read. Jaxon is out for revenge and there is a lot of unknowns and confusion surrounding him and what he is trying to do with Nancy. I am not sure if we are supposed to believe some of the things happening in this story, it seems a little farfetched. First, if something seems unbelievable, then it is. Who goes to a "Love Academy", not knowing what it is? She is either really brave, really adventurous or really stupid. If your conscience is telling you to run, then run. With all that being said, it is fiction, and it really drew me in and I couldn't put it down, even tho, I was screaming in my head that she needed to get smart and get away. Still not really sure how I feel about all the revenge, plotting and manipulation or the ending. But, I am looking forward to the final book and hopefully a happy conclusion.

Once you start a series, you have to read it through. Although fairytaleish, with slight mystery, this a good series.
There are no words for how excellent this book was. It was sexy,raunchy,hot, and full of love. I wish that I was as lucky as Nancy and Jaxon . I can't wait for the next book.
Too many loose ends.
Nancy is stupidly naive.
None of it even makes sense.
Lead male is an unlikeable pr*ck.
Sexist and lightheartedly bothersome.
A waste of time.
Keeps you interested and makes you unable to put the book down. The story lines in this series is wonderfully written. It makes your heart feel deeply for the characters and makes you feel for them. Sometimes I cried and others I had to laugh! I recommend this author's books to anyone!
