I enjoyed the characters and the story. The characters were fully developed people, and there are times you hate the "Hero" for the way he treats the heroine. She isn't given much of a choice but enjoys herself all the same. What I really loved about her is that when push really cam to shove closer to the end she really stood her ground.
Now, I don't know what happened, but the formatting for this book was totally screwy which which took me out of the story A LOT! There were n breaks in between sections. You are reading a paragraph and the me d paragraph jumps to a week later with no extra space, so you end up confused and having to 're-read it to get your bearings.

She writes so beautifully
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and the story line was good. I couldn't put this book down.
An interesting read. A bit slow at first, did not flow, but got progressively better. I started to understand his character and enjoy the plot. It turned out well.
I liked the characters and the story premise. It's nice that there's such great chemistry between the H and h. But the author took so long on the build up that I got frustrated and skip through parts of the book just to keep the story going
I can't believe everyone didn't give this book 5 stars. I just loved it! Lucy the h reacted to situations the same way I would have, I could truly relate to her unorthodox background and unworthy feelings. Ari was a strong H with childhood problems of his own that have made him into the ruthless person he is. Together they heal each other and create beautiful magic. Thank you Abby Green for writing such heartfelt and emotional books.
She hid her appearance because she did not want a guy to like her for just her body, like her mother did. her boss went through mistress weekly and he thought he could have her too. so on a business trip he changes her wardrobe and sleeps with her. he thinks she sold company secrets to his family who want to stop a merger and after accusing her she leaves him. he tries to get her back after he finds the truth. good book.
