Would love to see this on the screen. I’m desperate for the next in the series!
The continuing saga of Shebat, adoptive heir to the Kerrion Empire. A wonderful blend of fantasy, science fiction and family saga creates an atmosphere and setting that is original and compulsive. An imaginative vision of a world in technological upheaval in which human passion still plays an integral role. Not to be missed.
Janet Morris is my favourite fantasy author. Her books are just magical and the pages come to life with breathtaking depth and beauty. Cruiser Dreams is an action-packed novel, full of everything I love - romance, power struggles and suspense. As per all of her novels I couldn’t put it down - and would thoroughly recommend. Five stars from me!

This is a four book series. It is amazing. I read these books about twenty years ago and now they have been re-released. I have read maybe 25 of Janet Morris' books. She is an excellent author. She is also on FACEBOOK, check her out.........okay, okay so she is in this super luxurious starship. It came down and beamed her up. Then it was hit by lightning and became aware. It also became mentally connected to her. She was a bar maid in a saloon and didn't know who she was nor that she was a powerful witch........now she has a powerful battleready starcruser ......I loved the story......man, if HBO could develop it for the screen, it would also be very popular like Game of Thrones or Staz, Outlander......Stay in Motion, Life is Good!
Another amazing book from author extraordinare Jan Morris. Part II of the Kerrion Empire delivers a highly thoughtful read that tells us the story of Shebat, a young woman stolen from earth to evoke sweeping, but chaotic change in another universe The characters are well-defined, the description vivid, the writing superior and the story brilliant. Highly recommended. Treat yourself!
As always from under this author's pen, Cruiser Dreams is an extremely deep, thought-provoking, action-filled and delightfully realistic and suspenseful novel, a worthy sequel to the Dream Dancer. Like its predecessor and many other books by this author, I could not put it down and simply opted for rereading it the moment the last word left me without the fascinating world I grew to regard as the real one. Hope another book in the series comes out soon!
